Melanie Joy, PhD, is a Harvard-educated psychologist, author, international speaker, and an organisational and relationship coach. She was a lecturer at the University of Massachusetts Boston for 11 years, where she taught feminist psychology, oppression and privilege, and animal rights. Melanie is also the founding president of Beyond Carnism and a co-founder of ProVeg International.
